A Woman’s STORY ABOUT FAITH, HOPE, AND HEALING: Patti Pickens and J D Nielssen’s MS MyStery Solved

  Canoga, CA — The search for meaning in the face of profound suffering is a timeless human quest, especially for those who anchor their lives in faith. In her autobiography, MS MyStery Solved, author Patti tackles this challenge head-on, delivering a powerful and deeply personal narrative of faith tested by a life-altering diagnosis.

Patti describes herself as a "good Christian," one who believed in Jesus and diligently followed the "rules" of Christianity. Her early life, rooted in Georgia, was one of adventure and opportunity; the self-described tomboy pursued roles as a police dispatcher and EMT, and married a man she loved. Even after overcoming a setback—an accident that required her to learn to walk again—Patti maintained her conviction that Jesus had her back.

This foundation of steadfast faith was shaken in 2002 with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The diagnosis unleashed a torrent of changes: a new life dominated by doctor appointments, hospital visits, and ultimately, a divorce from her husband.
